How Ticket2Event Handles Refunds
1. Overview
Refund rules can vary by event, organizer, ticket type, payment status, and timing. This policy explains the common situations where refunds may be available and how Ticket2Event helps route requests.
2. Refund Eligibility
- Refund eligibility is based on the event policy shown during booking and any updates shared by the organizer.
- Requests are usually reviewed against ticket usage, event timing, cancellation status, and payment completion.
- Tickets that have already been scanned, transferred, or marked used may not be eligible for refund unless the organizer approves an exception.
3. Cancelled or Rescheduled Events
- If an event is cancelled by the organizer, eligible buyers will be guided through the refund process using their original order details.
- If an event is rescheduled, the organizer may allow existing tickets to remain valid or may offer a refund window.
- Processing timelines may depend on organizer confirmation and the payment provider used for the order.
4. Buyer-Initiated Requests
- Buyers can contact support with the order number, event name, ticket details, and reason for the request.
- Requests made close to the event start time may be subject to stricter organizer rules.
- Ticket2Event may ask for additional information before forwarding or resolving a request.
5. Non-Refundable Items
- Some organizer fees, convenience fees, add-ons, promotional tickets, or discounted tickets may be marked non-refundable.
- Missed attendance, late arrival, incorrect buyer details, or change of personal plans may not qualify unless the event policy allows it.
6. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are processed back through the supported payment or wallet flow connected to the original order.
- Once initiated, bank or payment-provider timelines can vary and may not be controlled by Ticket2Event.
- Refund status updates may be shared by email, account notifications, or support replies.
7. Wallet and Payment Method Refunds
- Wallet payments may be credited back to the buyer wallet where supported.
- Card, UPI, net banking, or other gateway payments may return to the original payment method.
- If the original method is unavailable, support may provide the next available resolution path.
8. Organizer-Specific Policies
Organizers may define their own cancellation windows, refund terms, admission rules, and transfer policies. Please review the event detail page and ticket terms before completing a purchase.
9. Disputes and Support
If you believe a refund decision is incorrect, contact support with your order number and any relevant evidence. Ticket2Event will review available order, payment, and event records before responding.
